Fulbright students explore innovation
Late last week Oklahoma City hosted more than 100 international Fulbright grant recipients for an enrichment seminar sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Celebrating OKC’s urban garden
This week the Myriad Botanical Gardens & Crystal Bridge celebrates its 30th anniversary. The organization is hosting a public open house on Sunday, the exact date it opened its doors in 1988. It is hard to imagine the Myriad Gardens as anything except the vibrant center of downtown Oklahoma City. Healthier trails ahead for OKC
Oklahoma City is making great strides toward building a healthier and active community through new walking and biking routes. Last week, the city dedicated its first truly urban trail, connecting neighborhoods and businesses along an 8-mile route. The Will Rogers Trail makes it easier to walk or ride from Lake Hefner and across Northwest Expressway at Meridian Avenue. It continues generally south and ultimately connects to the Oklahoma River Trail system near SW Fifth Street

Living it up downtown
