dedication pays off

Oklahoma City’s retail market is booming. Major chains are coming to the area and providing great retail options. Because of the city’s continued dedication to bettering the quality of life for its residents, major companies are coming with the new retailers. That means more jobs created right here in Oklahoma City in multiple industries.

Boeing recently broke ground on its research facility, its third structure in Oklahoma City. The 290,000-square-foot facility will add 900 jobs to Boeing’s campus near Tinker Air Force Base. Not only does this further the aircraft sustainment industry, it also boosts Oklahoma City’s economy.

Boeing was able to collaborate with the city to make the groundbreaking possible. Through economic development incentives and hard work, Oklahoma City helped ease the cost of moving the facility to Oklahoma and become a top location for the aerospace industry. This facility will house engineering, research, and development laboratories, as well as support staff.

Entertainment options are growing as well. Brickopolis recently opened in Bricktown, providing residents with fun entertainment. This three-story amusement venue includes an arcade, an 18-hole miniature golf course, laser tag and a gift store. Located just west of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, Brickopolis is a great investment in family-friendly activities for the district.
