development across the metro

Downtown may be a beacon for new development, but projects are starting and ongoing all over Oklahoma City. Development across the metro will provide residential and retail offerings and improve city amenities.

The Chisholm Creek development continues to add new retail, restaurants and entertainment. Construction is ongoing with the multi-level Tract 30 building. Featuring a variety of retail, restaurants and office space, Tract 30 expects to open late this summer and include tenants such as Jerky.com, Republic Gastropub and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. The major entertainment options near Chisholm Creek include Topgolf, Main Event and now expand to iFly OKC. At iFly, visitors can experience the simulation of skydiving in the facility’s 6,000-square-foot vertical wind tunnel.

Plans also extend to the residential market with a potential groundbreaking for a new apartment development at Chisholm Creek in the near future. Located at N. Blackwelder Avenue and W. Memorial Road, this apartment complex is expected to include 287 apartment units and a 417-space parking garage.

Development continues in the Memorial Road corridor as well. Houston-based restaurant chain Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen has announced plans for a new 14,000-square-foot restaurant on a 3-acre site on the south side of W. Memorial Road at Memorial Park Drive. The Sushi Bar has opened a second, 6,400-square-foot location near the intersection of Memorial Road and N. MacArthur Boulevard.
