ULI Impact Awards showcase development


It takes a host of people, from developers and Realtors, city planners, architects, bankers, landscapers and construction companies to create an outstanding project. Often, we don’t see the hours of behind-the-scenes work, piles of paperwork and emails, meetings and construction deadlines. What we do see, and experience, are the positive results of that work – places where people want to work, play and raise families and are balanced with sustainable and responsible land use.

Urban Land Institute Oklahoma’s annual Impact Awards honors the people and projects that represent the best practices in land use and development, promote the creation of resilient communities, intelligent densification and urbanization and exhibit excellent design and construction.

This year, ULI Oklahoma selected 19 finalists in six categories for the 5th Annual Impact Awards. The winners will be announced at the event Friday evening at the Tower Theatre. In addition, ULI Oklahoma will honor the Gathering Place in Tulsa for the Distinguished Merit Award and will recognize retired Oklahoma City manager Jim Couch for the Distinguished Service Award.
