Investment renaissance emerging in NE OKC

Groundbreaking set for MAPS 3 health, wellness center
On May 4, our city will gather to celebrate the groundbreaking of the next MAPS 3 project. Construction is starting at the third MAPS 3 Senior Health and Wellness Center located at NE 36 and Lincoln. The 44,810-square-foot center is expected to open next year and will be operated by Langston University in conjunction with the YMCA. OKC’s downtown housing mix continues to diversify
The Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority recently issued a request for proposals due July 30 for residential development in a section of The Hill at Bricktown. The site, located in OCURA’s Harrison-Walnut Urban Renewal Plan Area, is available for urban residential development close to downtown, the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, State Capitol Complex and the OU Research Park.
